Privacy Policy

This policy covers forgemint.in, the Forgemint client dashboard, and the free tools at tools.forgemint.in. The data controller is INCAB RIDES PRIVATE LIMITED (CIN: U49224PB2025PTC065267), H No. 40B, Guru Fateh Town, Daun Majra, Kharar, Rupnagar – 140301, Punjab, India, which operates the Forgemint brand. We process personal data in accordance with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).

Contact and account data. If you create a client dashboard account: your name, email address, and either a hashed password or, if you sign in with Google, the profile details Google shares with us (name, email, profile photo).

Project data. Anything you send us for a project — messages, files you upload to the dashboard, milestone and progress notes, support tickets.

Payment data. Invoice and payment status for your project. Card and bank details are entered directly into Razorpay, our payment processor — we never see or store them.

Contact-form and email data. Whatever you submit through a contact form, plus the email address of anyone we correspond with.

Free-tool usage. A tool on tools.forgemint.in processes the file you upload to perform the requested operation (for example, running OCR on a scan, or resizing an image). Files are processed in memory and are not retained after the result is returned to you. Some tools require sign-in — see tools.forgemint.in for the account details that involves.

Site usage. Aggregated, anonymised performance metrics (page load times, which pages are visited) via Vercel Speed Insights. This does not identify you individually.

• To deliver the project or service you engaged us for.
• To operate the client dashboard — showing you your own projects, files, and invoices.
• To process payments and issue invoices.
• To respond to a message or support request.
• To run a free tool you chose to use, and to keep that tool's compute from being scraped by requiring sign-in.
• To understand and improve how the site performs.
• To meet legal and accounting obligations.

We don't sell personal data. We share it only with the processors that make the service work, each acting under their own privacy terms:

• Vercel — hosts this site and the client dashboard.
• Razorpay — processes payments for projects.
• Google — if you choose to sign in with Google.
• Resend and Gmail — deliver transactional email (welcome messages, project notifications, invoices).

We may also disclose data if required by law, or to protect Forgemint's or others' rights and safety.

Client dashboard and project data is stored in a Postgres database. Files you upload to the dashboard or to a free tool are stored only as long as the service requires — free-tool uploads are not retained after the result is returned.

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in to the client dashboard, and Vercel Speed Insights for anonymised performance data. The banner shown on your first visit lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies; declining does not affect essential ones needed to stay signed in.

Client account and project data is kept for as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable period afterward for accounting and legal record-keeping. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time — see Section 9.

Passwords are stored hashed, not in plain text. Access to project and payment data in the dashboard is limited to your own account and to Forgemint staff who need it to deliver your project. No online service is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect your data.

Under the DPDP Act, you can ask us to confirm what personal data we hold about you, correct it, or erase it, and you can withdraw consent for processing that relies on consent. To exercise any of these, email support@incabrides.in. We'll respond within a reasonable time, and may need to verify your identity first.

Our services are intended for businesses and individuals over 18. We don't knowingly collect personal data from children.

We may update this policy as the business or the services change. The date at the top of this page is the last update. A material change will be reflected here; check back periodically if you want to stay current.
