Expense Tracker – Privacy Policy

This policy applies only to the Expense Tracker Android app (package name in.expense.managing), published on Google Play by INCAB RIDES PRIVATE LIMITED (the “Developer”, “we”, “us”). It does not cover our website or any other product; those have their own policies.

Expense Tracker works entirely on your device. We do not collect, receive, transmit, sell or share any of your data. The app has no account or sign-in, no advertising, no analytics and no crash-reporting service, and it does not request internet access.

To use the app you may enter account names, transaction amounts, categories, dates, notes, merchants, budgets, savings goals, debts and similar financial details. This information is stored only in a local database on your device. It never leaves your device unless you choose to export or back it up (see section 5).

• No name, email address, phone number or other personal identifiers.
• No location, contacts, photos, microphone, camera or SMS access.
• No device identifiers or advertising IDs.
• No usage analytics or crash reports.

Because the app does not transmit data to us or any third party, we hold no copy of your records and cannot access, recover or delete them for you.

The app lets you create a JSON backup, a spreadsheet export or a PDF report. When you do, the file is saved to, or shared with, the location or app you choose using Android’s file picker and share sheet. Once a file leaves the app, it is governed by the privacy practices of the location or app you chose (for example Google Drive, email or WhatsApp). You are responsible for keeping backup and export files secure.

We do not share, sell or disclose your data to any third party, because we do not receive it. The app does not include advertising or analytics SDKs.

Your data stays on your device until you delete it. You can delete individual records inside the app, or delete all data by uninstalling the app or clearing its storage from Android Settings → Apps → Expense Tracker → Storage. Backup or export files you created must be deleted separately from where you saved them. Uninstalling or clearing data permanently removes locally stored records that have not been backed up.

Your records are held in the app’s private storage area, which other apps cannot normally read. Please protect your device with a screen lock and keep backup files in a safe place.

Expense Tracker is a general-purpose finance tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone.

As we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct or erase. You control your data directly in the app. If you have questions about this policy, contact us using the details in section 1.

If the app’s data practices change, for example if a feature that uses the internet is added, we will update this page and its effective date before releasing that version.
